Yeup, another mountain lion ^^ I love them, they're so pretty :3 I was trying out yet another style, and I quite like this one! Lots of contrast and texture, and all achievable in an hour or two! I think this would be great for commissions, so if any one would like a commission like this ( Simple animal portrait in this style) Then shoot me a note! Enjoy!

When I saw the tiny preview, I wasn't prepared for the dappled texture effect. It surprised me at first but now I'm in love with it. I'm not an artist or an art student, so it's hard to describe, but something about those softened dabs of color are so incredibly inviting. It's like the visual equivalent of something soft and velvety. I just want to reach out and touch it!
