All Aboard the Hogwarts Express

FINALLY the first of 2 large acrylic commissions I'm doing for a family member. Originally it was supposed to be only one, but  kind of got stuck doing this one as well even though I really didn't want to. I'm glad I did though, because it has a lot of things I wouldn't normally paint otherwise, and I had to use multiple references to come up with the whole picture. The reason the trunk says "KEK" instead of "HP" is because this painting is a gift for my cousin, so her dad wanted her initials on it instead. I kept the owl and cage and stuff pretty simple because there was already a lot going on so I didn't want to add a bunch of detail to draw away from the picture as a whole.

So now I'll be moving on to the next acrylic commission, which shouldn't take too long, and then I have one last commission to do for YET ANOTHER family member before I can finally start doing my own things. Enjoy!
